Death Valley Itinerary (Day One)

8:00 AM - Depart from Tarantula Ranch


9:00 AM - Arrive at Zabriskie Point (Distance: 26 miles, Time: 1 hour)

Enjoy the stunning views of the golden-hued badlands and eroded canyons at Zabriskie Point. Take a short hike to get the best views.

10:30 AM - Drive to Badwater Basin (Distance: 20 miles, Time: 45 minutes)

Visit the lowest point in North America at Badwater Basin, which is 282 feet below sea level. Take a stroll on the salt flats and enjoy the unique scenery.

12:00 PM - Drive to Artists Drive (Distance: 9 miles, Time: 20 minutes)

Take a scenic drive through the colorful Artists Drive, a one-way loop that showcases the vibrant colors of the rocks caused by volcanic activity.

1:00 PM - Hike Golden Canyon Trail (Distance: 4 miles, Time: 2 hours)

Embark on a hike on the Golden Canyon Trail, which offers breathtaking views of the towering golden-hued walls of the canyon.

3:30 PM - Drive to Furnace Creek (Distance: 7 miles, Time: 15 minutes)

Stop at Furnace Creek for lunch at the Furnace Creek Inn or Furnace Creek Ranch. Furnace Creek also has a Visitor Center, where you can learn more about the park's history and geology.

5:00 PM - Drive to Dante's View (Distance: 28 miles, Time: 1 hour)

Experience a stunning sunset at Dante's View, which offers panoramic views of Death Valley. You'll be amazed at the stunning colors and beauty of the valley from this vantage point.
